The completed plan of the park on area of 8.3 hectares plans for construction of around 40,000 m2 of built-in area. VGP Park Kekava is perfectly inter-connected with main Latvian routes, while, at the same time, is only 18 km away from the capital of Riga, well connected by public transport. Additionaly, the southern bridge of Riga in direction to Kekava shall be completed in 2008; this bridge shall connect both sides of the river Daugava and will end almost on the outskirts of Riga in the Kekava direction. Thus, not only all districts of the capital, but also any of the Latvian regions will be easily and quickly accessible. The actual town of Kekava with almost 15,000 inhabitants provides a good source of labour force.
Project put into commission: Spring, 2010.
